Rehema Ministries/dba In Step Foundation, Kenya

Two names, one ministry.

Welcome!  A new phase begins here at In Step Foundation.  In Step Medical Center will be open to the public in early 2012.  It is a two-story stone building that will house visiting medical teams on the second floor, and offices, patient rooms, medical theater, lab and pharmacy on the first floor,

The medical center will treat our children at no charge.  The public will be charged a nominal fee to cover staffing and supplies.  Medical care is one of our largest expenses, especially during malaria season.

We continue to raise funds to complete the building. We have been given a generous donation by a doctor who is closing one of his clinics. We have picked up all of his equipment and supplies holding them in storage. The next step is getting it shipped over to  Kenya. If you would like to help with the purchase of the container ($4,000) or the shipping and duty fees appx. $12,000 please contact us.

Below is a cost list of the items needed to finish the building.

$12,600 – Windows;  ($3,775 toward Windows)

$5,250 – Inside doors; (donation received)

$1,600 – Outside doors; (donation received)

$8,000 – Tile floors and walls;

$4,000 – Electrical; (donation received)

$3,000 – Plumbing; (donation received)

Arrived April 2011, Dorcas, was 9 days old. A sweet, sweet baby!   Her mother had already named her before abandoning her at the hospital. It seems strange to have just buried Dorcas (Dori) and then God brings us another Dorcas to love and hold.
