Arrived September 2007, Jeremiah Nyota (Star) was 6 weeks old when he arrived. He was left on the side of the road in the city. He struggled a bit with asthma and other respiratory issues, but has out-grown them. He loves to play with blocks and cars. He is quiet and very serious.
Update 2012, Thomas is now five. He is doing well in Kinder class and he is always on the move.
Arrived March 2007, Thomas Baraka (Blessing) was born on March 24th, his mother was only 15. She gave birth and then abandoned him at the hospital. Jeff calls him Professor because at a year old he could repeat any word you would say. He is extremely bright.
Arrived December 2006, Benny was found wandering in the market at closing he was about 3 years old. He was recognized as being from a certain neighborhood, but his mother was never found. After staying three months at a crisis rescue center, he was placed with us. He is now in school and doing good. He is a timid child with a great smile and loves to dance and sing.
