We are looking for an experienced executive with the passion for children and nonprofit work. The Executive Director is the key management leader of Rehema Ministries.
In Step Children’s Home growing at a fast rate and more children are joining our family all the time. We are asking God to send us additional missionaries as we need on the ground help in order to keep up with the growth. We are looking for volunteer missionaries who would consider working full time at In Step Children’s Home in Kenya. Following is a basic outline of each job description. Assistant Administrator/Director – To work alongside the Kenya Directors in overseeing the daily function and operation of the In Step Children’s Home. This includes monitoring staff and children, providing the board of directors with accurate financial accounting records, hiring and firing of staff, sourcing and procuring all supplies necessary to ensure that the home and school operate efficiently, meeting regularly with all department heads and missionaries, etc.
Education Adviser – The Education Adviser serves as the educational leader, responsible for managing the policies, regulations, and procedures to ensure that all students are supervised in a safe learning environment that meets the approved curricula and mission of the school. Achieving academic excellence requires that the Education Adviser work collaboratively to direct and nurture all members of the school staff. Inherent in the position are the responsibilities for scheduling, curriculum development, extracurricular activities, personnel management, emergency procedures, and facility operations.
Farm Manager – The Farm Manager serves as the agriculture leader, responsible for managing the policies, regulations, and procedures to ensure proper management and production of the farm and dairy. Inherent in the position are the responsibilities for scheduling, staff management, and facility operations.
Construction Manager – Construction Manager is responsible for planning construction projects and overseeing their progress in a timely and cost-effective manner. Also responsible for budgeting, organization, implementation and scheduling of the projects as well as getting bids and purchasing and receiving good.
Nurse – Promotes and restores patients’ health by completing the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and team members; providing physical and psychological support to children, staff and team members.
Pastor – The Pastor will offer pastoral leadership to the missionaries, staff and children. The Pastor will ensure that the systems, practices, and policies support and align with the ministry activities and goals.
